A continuación comparto la convocatoria de la International Public Policy Association (IPPA) para los talleres internacionales en política pública («International Hybrid Workshops on Public Policy«) que tendrán lugar entre el 28 y 30 de junio de 2022. El evento será híbrido, es decir, simultáneamente habrá participación en línea y presencial (en Budapest).
IPPA proyecta realiza al menos 20 talleres sobre diferentes asuntos relacionados con la disciplina de las políticas públicas. La convocatoria señala los siguientes temas: teorías de procesos de políticas; política pública comparada; política pública y política; problemas y formuladores de políticas; implementación de políticas; diseño de políticas, análisis, experiencia y evaluación de política pública; discurso político e investigación política crítica; gobernanza, redes de políticas y gobernanza multinivel; grupos de interés, empresas y políticas; género, diversidad y políticas públicas; desarrollo y políticas sostenibles; políticas urbanas; y, análisis de políticas sectoriales.
Call for Workshops – IWPP3 Budapest, June 28-30, 2022
«The Call for Workshops for the third edition of the International Hybrid Workshops on Public Policy is currently open until October 31, 2021, preceding the call for papers that will open on November 16, 2021. IWPP3 will take place from June 28 – 30, 2022 in Budapest, as a hybrid event, holding both in-person and online participation.
A workshop can be submitted by one to three scholars and will be evaluated by IPPA’s scientific committee based on the academic quality of each proposal. The selected workshops will then be published on the IPPA website along with the call for papers. The workshop chairs will directly manage the selection of the papers. They can accept from 10 to 15 papers which will be discussed during the 3 days of IWPP3.
Workshop proposals can address the following topics, among others: policy process theories; comparative public policy; policy and politics; problems and policymakers; policy implementation; policy design, policy analysis, expertise, and evaluation; policy discourse and critical policy research; governance, policy networks, and multi-level governance; policy, business, and interest groups; gender, diversity and public policy; sustainable development and policy; urban policies; sectorial policy analysis.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
A workshop proposal should be submitted online (here) and contain the following information:
- A Workshop title outlining the main issue
- Chairs emails (note that each chair must have an IPPA account)
- Abstract of the workshop (300 words)
- Detailed workshop proposal (1500-2000 words including the objectives, research questions to be addressed, hypotheses, expected impact on public policy research and/or practice, a first list of expected papers, outlining the institutional affiliation of the authors expected publication (if any) in a book or a journal special issue or dossier.
- Call for papers (500 words) which will be published on our website during the call for papers phase.
- A brief biography of the chairs.
