CALL FOR WORKSHOPS – INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS ON PUBLIC POLICY 2- QUITO, JULY 1-3 |
«Following the success of our 1st International Workshops on Public Policy held in Pittsburg 2018, the International Association of Public Policy (IPPA) in association with FLACSO-Ecuador (Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales) are organizing the Second International Workshops on Public Policy at FLACSO-Ecuador in Quito from July 1 to July 3, 2020. We are thrilled to announce the CALL FOR WORKSHOPS is now open until 30th October, 2019.
20 parallel workshops are organized over the course of three days with the main objective of providing an appropiate platform to hold in-depth discussions on specific research questions. Each workshop is proposed by one to three scholars and will allow the analysis and discussion of 10 to 15 selected papers, which will ultimately support advanced policy research and promote high impact scientific publications.
Workshop Proposals can address the following topics: policy process theories; comparative public policy; policy and politics; problems and agenda setting; policy formulation, administration and policymakers; policy implementation; policy design, policy analysis, expertise and evaluation; policy discourse and critical policy research; governance, policy networks and multi-level governance; policy, business and interest groups; gender, diversity and public policy; sustainable development and policy; urban policies; sectorial policy analysis.

– the call for workshops:16th September to 30th October 2019
– the call for papers:15th November 2019 to 30th January 2020WORKSHOPS REVIEW PROCESS AND CRITERIA
