The government of India, as the Global Partnership on AI (https://gpai.ai) Council Chair, is organising a Research Symposium at the Annual GPAI Summit on 12-14 December 2023. The Summit will witness participation from global AI experts, multilateral organisations, government delegates and other relevant stakeholders from over 28 GPAI member countries and the European Union.

The theme of the Symposium is «Advancing Responsible AI in Public Sector Applications». The Call for Abstracts is now live (https://www.meity.gov.in/content/gpai-summit-2023-call-abstracts-research-symposium). The deadline is August 20.

We invite participation from industry, academia and think tanks to present actionable proposals to advance and promote Responsible AI.

The selected contributors will be given an opportunity to present their research before a global audience at the GPAI Summit and publish it as part of an edited volume from a reputed publisher, most likely, the Taylor & Francis Group. This volume is intended to serve as a vital resource for policymakers, researchers, and AI developers to access and appraise actionable best practices and innovative strategies to promote Responsible AI..
